We're getting married
… and would love if you would join us and celebrate our special day.
It all started in Copenhagen so there is no better place for our wedding to take place. We are looking forward to seeing our family and friends joined in this city and hope you can make it.
Extension and RSVP
The invitation is naturally extended to your partner and children as well. Please RSVP and let us know how many will come.
Children and babies are more than welcome at our wedding – Oskar would like to have lots of friends to play with. In case the children need some rest or sleep there will be a separate and quiet room for them.
Your presence at the wedding is the most important gift that you could give us, especially as many of you have to travel far! However, for those of you who would like to buy us a gift, we would be most grateful to receive a contribution to our honeymoon.
The ceremony will take place at 2 o'clock in the afternoon at Sankt Petri Kirke which is the German church in the centre of Copenhagen.
Sankt Petri Kirke
Sankt Peder Stræde 2
1453 København K
Go by metro, S train or bus to Nørreport or by bus to Rådhuspladsen and walk the rest of the way, 5 minutes or so.
6 o'clock in the evening. The Carlsberg elephants have always been our special friends and we go and say hi to them whenever we can.
1799 København V
Take an S train - line B, C or H - to Enghave station, and walk the last bit, 5-10 minutes.
We love cake too much to settle with just one cake at our wedding. So rather than just having one cake we would like to encourage you to bring a small cake to share
We can't wait to see you
We would be very thankful if you could let us know by September 26th if you (and your partner and children) will attend the ceremony and celebration. Please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements (allergies, vegetarian, etc.)
(Opens an email. You can still write a message before sending)
There are many options for staying in Copenhagen and they come in all prices. If you stay in City (København K) or Vesterbro (København V) you will be very central and close to both the church and the dinner venue
To our friends in Copenhagen
We think it would be really nice if our friends got to know each other well. Therefore, we would like to encourage our friends in Copenhagen with an extra bedroom (not too common in Copenhagen - we know) to invite friends travelling from abroad to come and stay.
Please, contact us if you can and would like to host guests travelling far.
Other ways to stay as the locals
Try airbnb.com if you want to stay as the Copenhageners. People on Airbnb will let you rent their apartment for a few nights and we can absolutely recommend it.
Getting around Copenhagen
From the airport
Copenhagen Airport is located very close to the city. It only takes 14 minutes to get to the city.
If want to go to the central station or Vesterbro, take any train from the airport train station.
If you want to go to Nørreport or the central city, take the metro.
Taxi from the airport to central Copenhagen is 200-250 kr., 26-30 €.
Rent a bicycle
Copenhageners love their bicycles and it really is the best way to get around in the city.
Rent a refurbished bike at Baisikeli and support their social work in Mozambique.
